My truck started off having a 4.3L/THM375. when I got it she only had the tranny so I stabbed a carbed 350C.I. under the hood and drove it for 2 years.
the day after I replaced rear brakes my friend decided to race me well while we were racing I was about to pass him and he cut into my lane so I hit the brakes and fishtailed right into a meadian took out a tree and wrecked the front end. the poor tranny pan took out the lower half of that damnn tree. I mean to tell you I totally de-rooted a 15" diameter tree.
I had a buddy of mine with a frame machine put it back to specs for a mere $250 which I thought was a helll of a deal.
After that I decided to to stab a TBI 5.7 smallblock with a THM350 trans under the hood
she is still under construction but not far from being road worthy again
