    hi all,
haven't been round in a while got a new one for anyone.
My bro's got an 07 Avalanche with the tire pressure monitors and one tire ended having a leaking valve core. Found out that the core does not unscrew like on a normal valve stem so I put the spare on until i could get this fixed. Took the tire up to the local shop and had the bead popped, removed the sensor/valve stem. This is a one piece assembly, GM #15825475. My question now is: do i have to use the same exact monitor or can this system work with mixed part numbers. There are cheaper aftermarket sensors out there than this one, $60.00 new, but they are not the same exact one. Any help is greatly appreciated, as always

    CC, got the link, thx!
Read it all the way through, and maybe I'm missing something here, but I didn't see anyone saying anything about mixing different sensors?
Guess I just don't want to spend the money and not have it work with the comp.
    Thanks again for the help!

    Hi leo,
nope, on this one, the valve core won't come out. if it would, that would have solved all my problems, he, he.
the valve stem appears to be super duper glued into the sensor, also.
    thx, tho!

leo, if you happen to see this, the original question was, can these sensors interchange? can i put 1 aftermarket sensor on this wheel where i've got a leaky core? or do they all have to match?
    thx, greg
