Fuel filter 2003 Sierra 6.0 gasser ?

    Where do I find the fuel filter on a 2003 GMC Sierra SB-Xcab 4x4 6.0L ?

    [​IMG]Should be on driver side frame rail two 16mm nuts i think .
    Open gas cap . And open nuts slowly will have some pressure . So watch your eyes.04 went to the in tank type.

    If you do not see maybe late 03,s went in the tank life time filter.

    Note - Use flare nut wrenches or you could possible damage the nuts making it nearly impossible to remove. Seen it done, guy came it with the nuts completely rounded off and chewed up and still could not break it free. Service manager refused to work on it.

    Or even the right fitting wrench will help, at all cost DO NOT use a adjustable cresent wrench as it will not fit tight enough and will flex open thus will end up rounding the fittings, trust me I know. Cresent wrenches cause more harm then good.
