Alarm goes off on every cold start. Sounds like vac alarm. Can only reset by turning engine off and back on again - sometimes 3/4 times. No vac light though light does work and brakes are fine. Any ideas?

Do not know much on these trucks..first start only..i would check battery connection good..clean..check battery voltage ..fully charged battery 12.65 volts anything under 12.35 getting weak. Can go to youtube how to test. Might try a big truck forum?

How about the oil pressure. Is the O.P. showing on the gauge when the alarm is sounding ? ? ?
Also, if the truck has air brakes, the alarm should sound until air pressure is built up to a pre~set pressure.

    Hi Hugh,
These Mazda diesels have a low coolant alarm which is part of the cold start system they use. (No glow plugs) Wiring for buzzer could be faulty or loose setting off the coolant alarm. Mine would constantly go off if I drove down rough dirt roads bumping the wire loose. Dam annoying till I fixed the wiring joiners. Can also be caused by a low charging state form your alternator. Do all the warning lights flicker as well then go out on start up.? This is an indication your alternators on its way out.
