hey dirtrider73068; when I look up motor mounts all they show is the rubber part. I am going to put a 88 Chrysler 318 in a 55 dodge that has whats left of the 270 poly. I think the truck engine mounts will make it easier to build new motor to frame setup

I looked on google and found vague refferences to mounts. mostly showed 440 and small block to Dakota car mounts. I did see mounts made from angle iron and drilled to fit, and that's fine to. But I found a site that lead to another sitethat sells a kit to mount 318-360 in most cars and trucks. The name (I hope I am right) is Tinman. It is a bolt to motor and weld tabs to frame. Its a little pricey $187.00, but could save a lot of time in fab time. I will go find the site in a few minutes to make sure of site name

I've always know them as the engine perch. Your best bet is a salvage yard for finding them. I've never found them listed in the parts stores. Books or computer
