I have a 89 r3500, just replaced the power steering pump as the one on it leaked. Now I have no steering at all and brakes do not work. I tried the ******* it up and bleeding the line. Nothing came out of the line off the booster?? Could I have the lines hooked up wrong? Does anyone have a diagram. It has a cooler also.
    Thanks Mark

Finally found it what a search sheesh...this is for a 89 gmc 3500 should be the same

    1) High pressure hose(1) from the power steering pump(20)( output) goes to the hydraulic booster (5) ( inlet).
    2) High pressure hose(9) from the hydraulic booster goes to the steering gear(green).
    3) Low pressure hose(4-blue) from the steering gear goes back to the power steering pump(20).
    4) There should be a fluid reservoir(27) and a large hose(26) goes to the power steering pump(20).
    5) There should also be a return hose(4-violet) going from the the hydraulic booster(5) to the reservoir(27).
