Which car/truck company has the best truck engine?

    Well I like the ford 360 carb, ford 302, chevy 305, and chevy 350.

    love the chevy 250 and 292 straight 6 , used to race one back in the late 60's , i left many a v8 saying wtf was that .

    I'm a big fan of the chevy 302 used in the late 60's in the trans am series high revving little devil and a lot of power for a 302. and of course the chevy 350 best motor EVER made, and i like the ford 300 straight six

    wow thats old school chevy 302.. 350 gets my vote, i like the 289 ford and the 440 mopar

    I also like the engine setup used on the dodge charger that on dukes of hazzard.

    HeHe yeah it's old school alright but i wish they'd bring it back cause that sure was a good little motor

    Yeah they did it was originally developed for the trans am racing series and the rules stated that the cars couldn't have over 302 CI and any company wanting to enter a car had to make like 500-1000 production cars thats actually how the cameroZ28 and trans am came to be that and the need for a car to answer the mustang

    It's old school, but the 440 4bbl in my old Winnebago (Dodge chassis) was one heck of an engine. Sold the Winnie in the 80's, but if it hadn't been sold that engine would probably have found its way into my Fury III.

    Then again, the 429 Cobra Jet was also an awesome engine. Had one in my 1969 Ford Ranch Wagon.
