01 k2500hd surging headlights

My 2001 2500hd headlights pulsate extremely bad no matter the situation

    I second this, need more info about whats going on, telling us lights surging could be anything, do you have a big sound system installed, do you have a factory sound system?

    Still more info would be needed I'm afraid. For example, why are you considering a stereo amp to be a potential source? Unless it's a huge current draw I don't see it affecting the headlights. How old is the battery? Is it the original alternator? Have you checked the voltage at the headlamp connector while the problem is occurring? Has the relay been tested? On a 17 year old truck it wouldn't be uncommon for there to be a ground issue, so that's probably a good place to start, but there are quite a few other areas that could be causing electrical issues on a truck of that age.

    I’m using LED bulbs on my truck they draw less volts and are brighter another thing when I do get to turning up my stereo my lights will flicker but I’m running a four channel amp and a sub amp.



    There is also a Big Five.
