We've used the Titan to tow a 28' travel trailer about 8-10k miles in recent years. After a year off we're pulling a smaller lighter trailer now. First day of travel I'm hearing what seems to be power steering pump noise when we're moving through city streets/parking lots. Once we dropped the trailer the noise stopped.
Anyone have any idea what this may be?

When was the last time you greased your trailer ball ?

WDH is all brand new, I greased it before we just towed 300 miles. This sounds like under the hood.

Can you get the noise to occur when your hooked up but not moving? Could be the suspension groaning under load.

Good point Kenny. Seems like just when I'm turning the steering wheel.

I suppose it has the lubed for life suspension components also.

Kenny, what it turns out to be is the sway bar vibrating at low speeds. It's a friction type bar attached between the trailer and hitch. Thanks for your suggestions though!
