4X4 issues

    Greetings all....

    I have a 1998 Chevy ½ ton, 5.7, 4X4, and I'm having issues with the 4X4. I try to put it in 4X4 high, and it will not engage. All that happens is after I push the 4 high button, both the 4 high and 4 low lights blink 4-5 times, then returns to regular 2 wheel drive. When I try to put it in 4 low, it also blinks a few times but it will engage to 4 low, so I'm presuming the actuator is good(?)
    Anyone have a clue as to where I should go with this issues?

    I would pull the switch and test it. Switches are relatively cheap.

    Finally got around to swapping the switch, and that seems to have do the trick.
