I had to order a new used door to replace the front passenger on my 2000 gmc yuki slt that got crushed. The door that came through is a 2003, and it had a different harness, and it was missing one part. Problem is I don't know what this part does, and I am having a hell of a time getting it off of the door. If you look a the pic, its attached by the two black tort screws at the end of the track, but does not seem to have anything to do with the end of the track. Anyone know? There is a plug on it for the wiring harness. I'm stumped!

its a torsional brace, it holds the door from wanting to fold in half as the access panel was made too big,

Turns out is part of the side door impact sensor. Go figure. It was not easy to find.
