recently bought a 1991 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 350 sbc for 650 bucks, it starts up just fine but only idles for less than a minute and then the engine bogs out and shuts off. Any ideas why this is happening?

I replaced one vacuum line that goes from the intake to some sort of sensors but Idk where any others would need replacing or where they are

Couldn’t tell you when the last time it got a tune up, it sat for 2 years and then I purchased it. I will check the fuel system

if it runs slower and slower and finally dies I would check the converter.

If you mean the catalytic converter, it doesn’t have one. Previous owner chopped the exhaust off right before the catalytic converter
