Anyone have a trick to tighten up these style center caps? All 4 of mine are loose.

Don’t the plastic lug nuts keep it tight maybe they are worn out. ?

No, I wish they did. It would be an easy fix in that case.

These are much like the old hub caps that snap into place and held by tabs that hold onto the rim, sadly its all plastic and over time the plastic gets weak or brittle and won't hold then start to rattle and at worse fall out going down the road or won't even stay in at all, I think out of the 4 I have about 2 left on my truck. It may be best to find new ones but then you going to have a nice new clean center cap on a old rim and will be able to tell.

Exactly. Also, the only ones I have found that are reproduced are the smoothed over ones like what came on the later models. I don't see anyone who remakes this style.

A little piece of double face tape would help to keep the center caps from tapping as you roll along.

Those plastic lug nut cover I have on my truck are the pits. Always stripped out and wont tighten. Saw guy in tire shop the other day putting them on with an impact wrench, No threads left on those babies!

I also thought that the center caps held the cap in place and if that’s the case try some door sticky foam insulation on them it should do the job or turn up the stereo.
