I'm been sick for awhile, but I was able to find my No.1 search candidate for a restoration. A real nuts and bolts "Take me back to 1988 Truck" one I wanted close to forever, and I just happened to stumble over it. So I'll let the pictures do my talking, You can see the end product, and yes, it took a lot, a lot of effort. I hope you like what I did. The brown or gold paint was a $10.00 case of beer paint job. It looked like it was put on with a mop. The once we stripped it, we found all the hail damage you get in West Texas where she came from. One family truck, bout new in 1988 Silverado K5 Blazer. The lady who bought it kept it on the west Texas ranch she ran. Fast forward nice lady passes on and she left it to her son who was not a rancher, but a CPA living in Wyoming. And I bought it from him. Truck had no rust anywhere on it, other than a small area under the battery tray. The red was my choice, but it was the 1988 brochure colors so. . . .
