Yesterday we went to my nephews little girls baseball tournament it was a all day thing until the best team wins and I’m telling you we could feel the gust of hot air blowing every once and a while we took plenty of water in fact we put them in the freezer then in a small ice chest to have cold water all in all we had a blast you only get to be a kid once.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms here and wives! :):applaud:

Still windy, but not as much... gorgeous day here as usual, nothing but blue skies and sunshine. I'm gonna miss this weather when I relocate.

I was just listening to this tune, it has always been my favorite because it has so much soul. Me dear departed mum, bless her soul, she taught us to appreciate a wide range of musical styles or genres. If someone were to tell me, "YOU'LL BE SHOT IN FIVE MINUTES... PICK A TUNE!!!"---well, THIS would be the tune I picked, despite all the classical works and other good tunes out there. And when the song ended, I'd tell the guy, "LET'S GET ON WITH IT, WE'RE BURNIN' DAYLIGHT HERE!!!" That way, I wouldn't have to sit around for over a minute-and-a-half, waiting for a bullet... LOL.

Man, oh man, what a day... warm sunshine with clear blue skies, I took a little hike in the forest to get some much-needed exercise, and it was so beautiful out there. I stopped to say "Hello" to little Jingle Belle, remember how I laid her to rest near three trees? One Ponderosa Pine, a juniper, and a small oak... well, those two smaller trees look as if they've grown some since I put Jingles at their feet. Forest overall is very dry, we're still under drought conditions, the grass should be green in May but it's all browned out already, which does not bode well with regard to fire danger. Maybe it's good that I'm selling this home of mine, there might be another monster wildfire this season... we've already had several sizable fires to the west, and that's where the danger lies.

These wildfires out here are no joke: the wind kicks up, some idiot lights an illegal campfire or tosses a butt, and BAM!!! The race is on, with the winds kicking up a heller wildfire... the kind that kills people and destroys homes, 10-4? I'd hate to see it happen, but it's a serious hazard up here in the forest, particularly when the trees and brush are tinder-dry and ready to explode with one spark. Oh, well, hopefully it doesn't happen before I bail, though I've given second thought to staying in Arizona... the only problem with that is if I downsize in this area, it still doesn't solve the Mormon problem, or the seasonal nature of many jobs up here. Last thing I wanna do is live in that overcrowded crime-ridden Phoenix $h!thole, while other areas are becoming just as bad. o_O

No lie, I heard one Tucson local say that his town has become "L.A. in the Desert"---partly because of all the "political refugees" streaming outta the Socialist Republik of KaliMexiFornia. Those include gang members, of course, a growing problem in Tucson and the Valley. The rest of Arizona consists of small desert towns where there isn't much going on work-wise, and the people pouring into the state won't help my efforts to find work, especially under my circumstances with the fake felony. Maybe my destiny does indeed lie elsewhere, and I should just be thankful for the time spent in this mountain paradise... as I leave and go where folks might not care so much about a fake felony outta Kalifornia, and there's a little more trucking going on as well.

ANYWAY, I'M BACK TO MY LISTINGS SEARCH, I JUST HAD TO GET OUT THERE AND TAKE A HIKE THIS MORNING, IT WAS A NICE LITTLE STROLL... :wtruck:

Kind of a sad day.....the blue ship was built here and served our offshore for 22 years. Name painted over, renamed, and getting sold off overseas. Sad sight. On her way to denmark now....she has a twin sister still laying up. Wonder if she'll see the same fate soon.
