Took my truck in for a front end alignment. Told him to center my wheel etc. Came back with wheel at 45 degrees. Went back to tell him he didn't center the wheel and he blamed it on a brand new tire I put on. I told him that was crazy and if he would let me use his machine I could align it and have the wheel centered. He took offense to that and we got into a confrontation that required the police to come and make me leave.

Now I feel like I am turning right all the time.

    I hate alignment shops!

Problem resolved. Took it to another alignment shop and the guy laughed when he saw the bad work. He fixed it and now wheel is centered. He told me this was the worse job he had seen and the guy who did is supposed to be highly respected. Fortunately he felt sorry for me and gave me a super price to do it right. So it only cost me 1 1/2 times what it should have in the first place!

I told him I was going to take off wheel and put it back on centered but he said it was not necessary.

Sadly good wrenchers and gear heads are few and far between these days.

Unfortunately paid with cash. When I told him to re do the alignment or give me back my money he told me there was nothing wrong and te get the **** out. When I said I was staying until he made it right he called the cops.

He is lucky that this was no 30 years ago or I would have taken it out of his hide before the cops got there.

Other shop said they could see how much he had cranked on the adjustments. When he did the alignment he said everything was almost back to what it has been for years.

Other guy has some possible illegals working in his shop so go figure. He has been in business for 30 years. I cant see how!

So turn his butt in to the IRS and the INS... Guaranteed he has not got the required I9 and W4 forms on file for his illegal staff. He's probably cooking the books to pay them under the table so he isn't witholding state or federal taxes or paying workers comp/unemployment or social insecurity.
This will burn him with both agencies and maybe with the state as well. The IRS will take him apart and the state will finish the job INS is just icing on the cake.

I would google reviews on the shop then write one that would put the hurt to him it's not being mean it's just warning other customers about the bad work they did you could even call your local news station and tell them what happen they might go to the shop and address the problem hey maybe even get your money back.
